I’ve been thinking about writing this substack post for a while. It seems aging has come to the forefront of a lot of conversations about women of a certain age and differing opinions about what that means. I finally read All Fours by Miranda July last month, and wow that book really did sit with me. I thought it was outrageous at times and also very brave, it just went all over the place and stayed with me which seems to be a response by many women. After reading it, I started to notice how everywhere I turned there was something to read about women 45+, ( this is generally with respect to perimenopause or menopause.) This of course is a good thing on one level, since at least we are starting to talk about it.
